KOMTEST / Common Rail test systems

Common Rail test benches for injectors and pumps

Choose a Common Rail test bench around the balance of injector and pump jobs in your workshop. KOMTEST offers single-channel and multi-injector arrangements, combined injector-and-pump machines, and a dedicated Common Rail pump bench.

Injector-only, combined or pump-only?

The model names are similar, but their roles differ. Start with the work you need to perform and then verify component-level coverage and accessories.

Injector-only, combined or pump-only?
ModelMain taskWhen to consider it
CRI PUMP 2400Common Rail injectors + pumpsFour-injector testing with integrated pump control for a mixed Common Rail workload.
CRI 2300Common Rail injectorsMulti-injector testing and coding for workshops focused on injector work.
CRI PUMP 2200Common Rail injector + pumpA single injector channel plus pump control when both types of work are needed.
CRI 2100Common Rail injectorA compact single-channel bench for injector testing and coding.
CR PUMP 2700Common Rail pumpsDedicated pump work: transfer, pressure, Emprobe, start and performance tests.

01

Decide whether pump testing belongs on the same bench

CRI 2100 and CRI 2300 address injector work. CRI PUMP 2200 combines a single injector channel with pump control, while CRI PUMP 2400 adds four-injector testing alongside pump control. CR PUMP 2700 is dedicated to pump work.

If pump and injector jobs arrive together, consider how operators will share the equipment and whether setup changes suit your workflow. Channel count is a starting point; ask for a demonstration using representative components and the intended test sequence.

02

Testing and coding are separate requirements

A test evaluates a component against the selected test plan. Coding is a system-specific operation, so a test result alone does not establish coding support. Match the injector reference and intended code family to the proposed software and machine configuration.

The KOMTEST catalogue describes Bosch IMA/ISA, Delphi C2i/C3i/C4i, Denso QR and Continental/Siemens IIC workflows on applicable injector systems. Confirm the exact injector technology and reference before treating any code family as included coverage.

03

Build a useful Common Rail demonstration

Select a short list of the Bosch, Delphi, Denso or Continental/Siemens references that appear most often in your workshop. Review the connection hardware, the test sequence, the report and any required coding operation together.

  • Confirm whether each job is injector testing, injector coding, pump testing or a combination.
  • Check fixtures, electrical cables, return connections and optional adapters against the package.
  • For pumps, discuss transfer, pressure, start and control-valve tests needed for the pump family.
  • Agree on how test plans and software updates will be supplied and supported.

Questions before choosing a bench

Which model combines injector and pump testing?

CRI PUMP 2200 provides a single injector channel plus pump control. CRI PUMP 2400 supports four-injector testing with integrated pump control. Check the product details and selected accessories for your intended components.

Does an injector profile guarantee coding support?

No. The reference library supports identification and research. Coding requires confirmation for the exact injector, code system, software and machine configuration.

Is maximum pressure enough to compare benches?

No. Compare the supported tasks, measurement and temperature control, test plans, fixtures, reporting and service arrangements. The relevant pressure range is the one required by your component's approved test procedure.
