HEUI injector test bench with dedicated hydraulic actuation
HEUI injectors use hydraulic actuation and require a test arrangement built for that system. KOMTEST HEUI 2800 combines separate hydraulic-oil and test-fluid circuits with computer control and quantity measurement. Select the injector fixture, oil-passage adapter and test plan together.
The HEUI 2800 platform
HEUI 2800 is the dedicated HEUI model in the KOMTEST range. Use the product sheet and connection package to check your exact injector references, rather than selecting a bench from the vehicle brand alone.

Hydraulic actuation needs its own controlled circuit
The HEUI 2800 specification describes separate tanks for ISO test oil and hydraulic oil, with level and temperature control. Its hydraulic system automatically sets actuation pressure; the published hydraulic output rating is up to 300 bar. This is an actuation-circuit specification, not a Common Rail fuel-pressure rating.
The platform uses computer control, adjustable stroke control and electronic mass measurement for quantity. Its vertical glazed layout provides access for mounting and a view of return backflow. Review the actual test sequence and fluid conditions with the selected injector and test template.

Match the HEUI application to both connection sets
The product sheet lists CAT C7, C9, 3126 and 3408, Ford Powerstroke and Isuzu system applications. The connection library distinguishes standard Navistar and CAT fixtures and oil-passage adapters from the optional Isuzu fixture and oil-passage pair. A system name does not establish coverage for every injector revision.
The fixture holds the injector while the oil-passage adapter completes the hydraulic connection. Check their seals, bolts and associated parts as one setup. Confirm the exact injector reference, electrical connection and available test plan before selecting a package.

Prepare a useful HEUI demonstration and quotation
Send a short list of HEUI references from your workshop, their engine applications where known, and the tests you need to document after service. Ask for a demonstration that shows mounting, fluid preparation, test operation and interpretation of the measured quantity.
- Keep hydraulic-oil and test-fluid requirements separate in the installation discussion.
- List the injector fixture and oil-passage adapter needed for each reference.
- Confirm which standard and optional application sets are included in the quotation.
- Review test templates, temperature management, operator training and maintenance with the selected configuration.

Questions before choosing a bench
Is HEUI testing the same as EUI/EUP testing?
No. HEUI needs hydraulic actuation alongside the test-fluid circuit. EUI/EUP work uses a mechanically driven arrangement matched to the injector or unit pump. HEUI 2800 and the UNIT 2500/2600 range address these different requirements.
Does the HEUI 2800 package include Isuzu connections?
The documented Isuzu injector fixture and oil-passage adapter are optional. Standard Navistar and CAT connection sets are listed separately. Confirm the selected package and exact injector coverage in the quotation.
What does the 300 bar HEUI specification describe?
It describes the published hydraulic actuation output of HEUI 2800. It should not be compared directly with a Common Rail bench's fuel-pressure specification. The selected HEUI test plan defines the operating conditions for the injector being tested.
